ABOUT hITEC OCTANe
The ICS Technology and Entrepreneurship Competition (hITEC), formerly extreme computing, is the cornerstone of the Bren School entrepreneurship program.
The competition is designed to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship among Bren School and UC Irvine students, and fuel the development of new technologies that have the potential to positively impact the marketplace.
The Bren School has partnered with OCTANe to bring together students and experienced entrepreneurs to achieve the common goal of stimulating Orange County’s economy by exposing Bren School and UCI students to the product development process and teaming them with industry advisors.
