Many thanks to WICS for sponsoring Avanade’s Tech Showcase event last night. On behalf of my colleagues, I also want to thank everyone who was able to make it!

For those of you who couldn’t make it to the event, the demo shows how to develop a Vista Facebook Gadget using WPF and the Facebook Toolkit all from scratch. The gadget shows your top 3 friends from Facebook including their name, status message, and picture. The tools we used during the demo, Visual Studio 2005 and Expression Blend, allow seamless collaboration between the developer and designer.
