ICS Marketing

My last post got me thinking if how CS programs nationwide is marketing to potential CS undergrads.
Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to visit UW (University of Washington) to do some recruiting for my employer. When walking around their Informatics lab, I spotted this poster (see blurry picture below), where the tag line says,
“I code, but I’m not a computer programmer”
The line below says something to the effect of – “My major has the right balance of technology, people, and engineering. Does yours?” I thought this was a perfect example of the school attempting to debunk some of these myths! Also great to see the school trying to attract more students into the CS major.
Anyone know if our program has taken similar initiatives or marketing plans?
